Healing of the Kind Spirit

         You were hurt one too many times. You offered your love and comfort, but it was all for naught. Your heart was shattered all across the cold floor and you were the only one left to pick it up.


         You tried to nurse it back to health, to restore it's unadulterated beauty. But to no avail. Never again will your precious heart shine so purely again. Never again will it give so graciously, so kindly. So... caringly.

      
         Or so you thought.


         You thought it couldn't happen, right? You thought you'd never be able to use your broken heart again. You thought you were completely unlovable. Intolerable. Heck, you thought someone would rather die them to be within a foot of you.


         You think you're hated?


         You think you're incurable?

     
         Well, let me tell you something:


        The cure for a broken heart is love.

 
        No, no, not your love. Someone else's. Someone whom you've held in your broken heart from the beginning. Someone who loved you unconditionally all along. Someone who kept their distance at your request, but was right around the corner if you needed them. 


        Or maybe it's someone you haven't gotten the change to meet yet. Someone that'll turn your life upside down and change your perspective. On everything.

      
        Someone... special. Someone like no other.


        A best friend maybe? A significant other? A mother? A father? A sibling?
